In 1964, with four young children, I converted a small den to an office embarked on my real estate career. In 1969, my husband and I purchased land on Washington Street in Canton and built a homes that would accommodate a growing family as well as an office for insurance and real estate. For years we were a one-stop for real estate and insurance for homes and autos. After the death in 1986 of our youngest child from Gauchers disease, I actively expanding our office and acquired a dedicated staff and all the updated equipment to become a successful office. Today, J.L. Pratt REALTORS, Inc., remains a prominent force in the community service with my brokers assisting in feeding the homeless, the Canton Area Helpline, and other public service activities as well as providing excellent services and sharing our wealth of knowledge and expertise. 2014 is my 50th year anniversary of selling real estate.
